Thank you to everyone who made our 2018 Fall Celebration a huge success! It was a record year for us both in number of attendees and in the amount of money raised for the library. We couldn't have done it without the support of our community and all who donated items, attended the event, bought raffle tickets, took a chance at the "wine pull," and purchased items in the auctions.
All of the money raised will support the things we do here at the library to help Mercer residents and visitors stay informed, entertained, and connected to their community. Read on for a list of all of our donors to the event, and be sure to thank them for their support of your library!
From September through May the Mercer Library book club meets once a month for an informal discussion of each month's title. There are no requirements, and this is a relaxed and friendly group. New members are always welcome! To borrow a copy of the current title just visit the library, give us a call at (715)476-2366, or see our online catalog at merlin.nwls.lib.wi.us.

Thanks to funding from the Friends of the Mercer Public Library, a new 6.12kW solar energy system went online at the Mercer Public Library in October, 2017. As of May 21, 2018, the system has generated 3.35 MWh of power!
Check out our solar monitoring panel to see how much energy we're generating right now, or look at our statistics by the day, month, or year.
You can also view the data from our weather station to find out how our local weather affects the amount of power we generate from our photovoltaic system.
There are several ways you can keep in touch with what's happening at your library. Pick what works best for you, or sign up for them all!
