From July 07, 2017 1:00 pm until 2:30 pm
Categories: Adult events

Librarian Teresa Schmidt will lead an "Introduction to Microsoft Word" class at the Mercer Public Library on Friday, July 7 at 1:00 to 2:30pm.

This will be an intro class covering basic topics in Microsoft Word for Windows. We'll learn about the "Ribbon"; creating and saving documents; creating headers and footers; using some of the many formatting tools available in Word; and other questions that class participants might have.

Participants should bring their own laptop with Microsoft Word installed if possible. (Mac users are welcome, though the instructor will be demonstrating on Windows.)

There is no charge for the class, but it is limited to 12 participants. Call the library at 715-476-2366 to sign up in advance to ensure you'll have a spot. Others will be welcome on a drop-in basis if there is enough space.
