Website Basics for small business

From October 23, 2017 10:00 am until 11:30 am
Categories: Adult events

Do you need a website for your small business, a community organization, or personal use? Are you unclear about the terminology surrounding websites and how they work? Do you want to know more about free or low-cost options to establish a web presence? This is the class for you!

Librarian Teresa Schmidt will lead an informal session on website basics to help you understand how to get your business, organization or hobby online. This will not be a hands-on class, but will introduce you to the basic concepts of how a website works and what features you need to think about when making website decisions for your business. You'll get an introduction to some free or inexpensive web services for a DIY site, and learn more about the process of hiring a professional or service to create a site for you.

The program is free and open to all. For more information, call the library at 715-476-2366.
