STEAM Day - cancelled
Due to a lack of registrations, this event has been cancelled. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Have you ever wondered how wearable technology like the FitBit or Apple Watch works? Would you like to build your own wearable gadget and learn to analyze the data it collects?
Join the Mercer Library and the Iron County 4-H for a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) day at the library on Saturday, December 9 at 11am to 1pm. We'll be working on combining science, data, fashion design, and computer skills to build and test a wearable health monitor following the 4-H "Incredible Wearables" program.
Kids in 4th through 8th grade are welcome to participate, and lunch will be provided by the Iron County UW-Extension. Call the library at 715-476-2366 to register by December 4th.
