Community event: Ecumenical Bible Study
The Ecumenical Women's Bible Study is a group of women of all Christian denominations who meet at the Mercer Library to gain knowledge, wisdom, support, and a sense of community as they study the Bible. All women are invited on Tuesday mornings at 8:30am, September through May. For more information, contact Martha at 715-776-3993.
"Community Events" are events and meetings that are open to the public but not organized by the library.
From the Mercer Public Library policies:
The fact that a group is permitted to meet at the library does not in any way constitute an endorsement of the group’s policies or beliefs by the library staff, the Mercer Public Library Board of Trustees, or the Town of Mercer. Individuals, community organizations, and registered nonprofit groups may reserve meeting rooms at the Mercer Library at no charge. For-profit groups or individuals who intend to charge an admission fee for attending an educational activity held in the library shall be charged a $25 fee for use of the room.
