“Business Bites” to offer info on starting an online marketplace

Mercer, WI - Ever think of starting your own online business or adding online sales or service to your existing business? Join us on November 14th at 12:00 p.m. in the Mercer Community Center as we kick off a series of short presentations to help area businesses and inspire those who may want to go into business.

November’s topic will be online marketplaces and how they can help grow your business. Roger Peck of Superior Lighthouse in Herbster, Wisconsin, will join us virtually to explain some of the many online platforms available to sell products and services to a much wider audience. Following Roger's presentation, Eva Furgason of Bessemer will be on hand to discuss her experience with Etsy and how this platform has been particularly helpful for artists and craftspeople.

“Business Bites” will continue in 2019 with programs on small business marketing, social media, and more. This program series is sponsored by the Mercer Chamber of Commerce, Mercer Public Library, and Iron County Development Zone.

Lunch will be provided by the Friends of the Mercer Library with a suggested donation of $10.

Please register for the program by November 9 by calling the Mercer Chamber of Commerce at 715-476-2389 or emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
