Lake Superior State University's Banished Word List 
For over 37 years, LSSU has been issuing a list of words "Banished from the Queen's English for Misuse, Overuse and General Uselessness."  The 2012 list includes such gems as man cave, blowback, and occupy.
Simply the best website for knitters and crocheters. We have a large fiber-art community in Mercer, and this remains at the top of our list of recommended websites. The best part of Ravelry is its detailed database of patterns found across the web for free and in books or available for purchase online. Search by skill level, fiber or yarn, and more.
