If you shop at Amazon.com here's how you can support the library at the same time. Visit Amazon Smile to tell Amazon that you want to support Friends of the Mercer Public Library. Then, every time you shop at Amazon Smile, a portion of the proceeds will benefit your library. It's that easy!
Donations to the Mercer Public Library are always welcome. Your donation can help us purchase items and provide programs that are not covered by our normal operating budget.
Many people make donations directly to the library for the purchase of specific items or materials on a topic of interest to them, and others make donations in memory or in honor of a loved one.
If you'd like to mail in your donation, you can download a Mercer Public Library Donation Form (PDF) or just mail your contribution to: Mercer Public Library, 2648W Margaret Street, Mercer, WI 54547.
If you'd like to contribute online, click the button below to use your credit card to donate through Pay Pal. It's easy and secure! If your contribution is in honor or memory of someone, please be sure to click the "plus" + sign and fill out the box labeled "This donation is in honor/memory of" so we can add your donation to the proper fund.
Donating goods and services
The Friends of the Library also accept donations of usable condition used books for their annual book sale or for the on-going used book sales in the library. We are also happy to accept donations of merchandise from local artists and merchants for our raffles and October Celebration silent auctions.
If you have a question about making a donation to the library, contact library director Teresa Schmidt at (715)476-2366.
Thank you for your support!
Volunteers are very important to the smooth running of the Mercer Public Library. They do many tasks, including:
- Working the circulation desk--checking books in and out and assisting patrons
- Shelving books and other materials
- Preparing materials for the shelves
- Repairing materials
- ... and much more!
