The Mercer Library offers programs for adults and children throughout the year on various topics. If you have a topic you would like to see library programming on, or if you have a hobby or information to share with your neighbors in a library program, please contact the library director.
See the list of Upcoming Library Events for more details on programs offered at the library.
Mercer Public Library Programming Policy
A “program” is a planned interaction between the library staff and the program participants for the purpose of promoting library materials, facilities, or services, as well as offering the community an informational, entertaining, or cultural experience.
Programming could include such activities as story times, films and activities on no-school days, summer library programs for children, speakers for young adults, and book or author discussion groups for adults.
The board, in conjunction with the library director, will establish goals for programming to facilitate the effective implementation of this service.
