Preschool Story Hour
is held once a month on Wednesdays from 10:30-11:30, following the Mercer Public School calendar.  Please call for the schedule.

Summer Reading Program is held for six weeks during the summer.  Kids can participate by having a story read to them, make crafts and compete with the number of books read.

Movie Activity is held once per month after school, following the Mercer Public school calendar.

Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) is held the 2nd and 4th Thursday after school.  Come to the library to play this dance game with your feet!!

Read On Wisconsin! First Lady of Wisconsin Jessica Doyle announced the continuation of the Read On Wisconsin!  book club for another year. Read On Wisconsin! is a book club for youth in grades PreK-12. Students in the Intermediate, Middle School and High School book clubs will be able discuss the books on the Read On Wisconsin web log.

Walking with Dinosaurs:  Companion to the BBC television series. Contains live motion sequences.
Earth Science Explorer:  Follow the Explorasaurus and learn about dinosaurs and the earth.
Animal Diversity Web:  Lots of information on many different animals great for a report.

Bugs in the News!:  This site is aimed at those interested in bacteria, viruses, and other "bugs".
Desert Life:  DesertUSA contains virtually any desert-related topic: plants, animals, geology, cultural and natural history.
eNature.com:  This is a field guide to animals and plants with lots of good photos.
Endangered Species Home Page:  Information about endangered species including legislation, lists, and educational resources.
National Wildlife Federation:  Articles published by Ranger Rick. Also includes information on endangered species.
Pet Care Tips:  Most information is located in the Pet Care Library.
Virtual Frog Dissection Kit:  The program allows interactive dissection of a frog.
