Mission Statement

The mission of the Mercer Public Library is:

     1.  To nurture the love of reading in all ages
     2.  To be a resource center for the community by supplying a wide variety of informative materials
     3.  To be a center of culture for the community
     4.  To provide a pleasant library experience for persons of all ages
     5.  To keep up with he public's demands for technology by providing computers and on-line services
          for its patrons.

In pursuing this mission, the Mercer Public Library helps to promote the love of reading, educate and improve the literacy of the community and provide an inviting place for patrons using the library.
